Every product here started as something we genuinely needed. We shipped them because they worked, and kept them because real people use them. They're how we stay sharp — and why the Partner and Teach rooms carry any weight.

The products

Commonplace: Turn private knowledge into public signal. A quiet place to write in public. Currently in private beta.
Nappy Notes: Parenting is hard. Tracking shouldn’t be. Born from necessity, days before our first child arrived.
Book Time: For readers who can’t decide what to read next. Lightweight tools that make the choice feel less fraught.
fmaps: Codebase cartography for large projects. Maps domains, blast radius, and risk before you refactor. A sidecar tool we use on every engagement.
doctrine: Product memory for agent-assisted development. Keeps context, decisions, and hypotheses coherent across sessions.
memory-ledger: Persistent, structured memory for Claude Code sessions. Survives context resets; surfaces what matters when it matters.

Why we build

The lab’s products are proof of practice. We don’t pitch agentic workflows to clients without having shipped them ourselves. We don’t advise on product thinking without having made the hard calls in our own work. The credibility behind Partner and Teach is earned here.

We kill almost nothing. If something stops growing, it goes into maintenance. The things that stay live are the ones real people use.
